Okay, i've been bookmarking everything that locks and unlocks, so finally it's getting used.
With lever locks, warded locks, and basically allmost every type of lock, remember the fact that everything is built on what was invented many years ago.
This means that the lever locks of today are just the lever locks of the dark ages with some extra security features.
It's just layers upon layers of development, making it slightly harder to pick every time. But the technique stays the same!
Even in the acient egypt, they were already using some rather nasty locks, so go figure...
First page: a database of pictures of keys and locks of various ages. It just gets older.
Minor drawback: language is french, but a bit of clicking in general will get you decent pictures to get ideas from.

Second page: a basic locksmithing guide to making a lock.
Minor drawback: this might require some inside knowledge to understand, or, of you're a quick learner, you'll understand how things interact.

Third page: just a few pictures that give names to several parts of the key and lock.

I've got several other related pages bookmarked, but they all can be found on
www.lockpicking101.com by looking at the guides list and scanning for the words "lever" and "warded".
Final note: I don't know whether you like this, but in order to write about it, you might need to spend some hours on learning how they work.
Also, IF (yes, my sweet moderators, IF) I was a thief that picked locks, my drive would not be arrogance. It would be fascination and greed. I guess i'd steal the lock while i was at it. That's just me though.
I hope this helps.
Yours,
Jordy
