alittle help

i have read quite a bit on how to lockpick, ive figured out the basics on the two tools one flat one curved(didnt make much of a difforence for me if the end was curved:i picked a small lock with tacks) u add presure while turning(right i think) and press the pins, i just press them at random and well, i only have two to test, one was a smaller one(that i did with tacks) and ive picked that like 20 times(because i messed up many times when locking it where it didnt latch) that lock is small, i have a bigger lock(bolth are attatched to boxes) and i cant seam to get it to open, ive felt around/ looked inside it and i only feel two pins, by bigger i dont mean like door lock big. its odd i do what i always do and the other one opens easily in only a few seconds while i cant open this one at all......there is one thing though, im using picks that i made easily out of the thinner type of paper clips just stretched out...i recently readthat some locks like that you have to twist them another way ima try that, anyone have any advice im not that great at picking.
