CLAMPING

OK, our local petrol station lets us park our vans on a bit of land behind the shop that they own.Recently people using the train station have started to park there and block our vans in. can the owners of the petrol station legally clamp these other vehicles?

The easiest thing to do is just borrow the clamp as your friends with the garage and when you park up stick it on your van so everyone can see it, they wont park there for long :D

This method does work too as its a technique a friend of mine has used after his car park started filling up with unwanted cars by people who had cloned swipe cards. He parked his car next to the entrance and a large clamping sign he put up and overnight the car park was empty again, all because he thought outside the box as they say. Also no one will think of nicking your van either and all for minimum inconvenience

Another effective method is to tape a parking ticket to your window. If you can't talk a local cop into writing a fony one for you, you could easily print some out. Leave one posted on either side of your van.
