American series 1105 picked

Sorry for the huge delay in reporting anything been busy finishing up my penn-foster schooling and slaying the schlage and yale mortices that I have.



BUT, last night after a long hiatus of being intimidated of this padlock... I picked it!!!!!

After thinking that I was just lucky I re-locked it and sure enough 30 seconds later I was turning the plug (jeez the thing has a gigantic tension).

I wanted to see what this puppy was made of so I took it apart and this is what I found:

2 serrated mushroom pins
3 serrated spool pins
4 serrated bottom pins
and 1 really short smooth pin

This lock is a beast for noobs and i'm still in disbelief that I picked it myself

Why was this moved from locks to got questions?

just wondering because I have no question here just stating that I finally picked this lock.
