So, I'm trying and trying to shim the lock to remove some of the pins. I just can't get it. they the plug slide out a little when i turned it up-side dowm. Those folks forgot to put in the top pins...they just put bottom pins snd springs!

It is pretty hard to shim between a pin and a spring. It was driving me crazy!

In that case carefully lift up each pin with a hook pick util the bottom of the pin is above the shearline, do this for all of them then remove the plug,

Thanks shrub, That's what happened, quite by accident. I did ruin a couple of springs though. If i hadn't found out by accident...I might'a kept working on it forever!
