I'm curious to know if expertise at lockpicking can keep you from buying expensive wire lock-out tools?
I used to work security at a mall about ten years ago where we assisted with several auto lock-outs a day. This was very fun for me. All we had was a slim jim, but I was successful about 95 percent of the time. My problems usually arose when the stupid thing got stuck in the door. I always managed to get it out without damaging anything, but I worry when I see the wire tools that are available for lockouts now.
If I practice, practice, practice, is it possible to always get in through lockpicking? Or are wire tools a fact of life I will have to learn to deal with?
