Cutting keys by code with the FB200

I've been fooling around with bump keys and impressioning for a while and I'd like to have a key machine to fool with for shits and giggles. This won't be for business use, just hobbiest use. It looks like the most economical machine would be the Foley Belsaw 200. I'm open to other <$500 suggestions if anyone knows any. What is needed to cut keys by code with this machine, and how well does this machine do the job?

You would be better either finding a second hand machine or maybe hand punch,

The fb 200 comes with a caliper to cut to the desired depth. You can buy the add on caliper for spacing or use spacer keys.

I cut my bump keys by duplicating a key, using a blank to set the caliper for depth and eyeballing the cuts into the key I had copied.

Is there a good place too look for second hand machines? I've tried eGay but they prohibit locksmithing tools and Yahoo Auctions seems to only have a couple of duplicators. Is there a particular machine that I should keep my eyes open for?

Machine depends on where you live but second hand ones come up for sale on here and if you put a wanted ad in the forsale section you may get something offered,

Other than that machine sellers somtimes have trade ins they are selling cheap,

I think if all your doing is messing around any will do as long as its cheap and can cut a decent key, for code cutting you dont have to have a code cutter, a set of depth and space keys will work just as well and they can be found on ebay,
