Why is the Locks thread locked?

Postby greyman » 27 Jul 2006 3:17

Sorry, did I miss something while I was away? The Locks thread seems to require password access now. Wouldn't it have been better to move the questionable material to the advanced section and leave the thread unlocked. Mods, please fix me up if I'm on the wrong track.

I need to log in for the Pick Fu, Locks, and Buy, Sell, Trade forums. Is that what you are talking about or are you talking about a specific thread. They're not advanced now are they?

This is the first I've heard of the issue...what exactly is the problem, and is anyone else having the same issue?

Varjeal, I've noticed that I must be logged in to view the "Locks" and "Buy - Sell - Trade" forums.

Yes; when I go to the site at work, it also prompts me for those forums. Not a problem, since its easy to log in- but i was curious why those threads needed logging as well.

I have to log in to view locks, pick-fu and the buy/sell/trade sections. None of the other sections require logging in though.
