Identify these bump keys!(US Possibly Yale)

I'm mostly a picker, but obviously can't ignore bump keys.

I recently decided to aquire with some friends some common bump keys... personally I only needed Kwikset and Schlages but they wanted more so here are two we got:



I know this is going to make me sound like a newb(then again if I am asking I probably am), but can anyone identify the two circled keys?

I've only picked Schlage and kwiksets and usually dont pay attention to most key rings so I'm unsure. They are both off-brand copies, but have "Y1" and "Y2" stamped on them so I figure they are a 5 and 6 pin yale keyway.

Another point, is in the smaller circle it looks like the front cut is too far back on the key as the nose doesnt look the same... is that normal or was the spacing off on the 5 pin??

Besides what is pictured and a best, any other keys that people consider "must-haves" in a bump key keychain?

ps I know they aren't filed yet to be bump keys, wanted to picture before I mess them up with my files and then glue the shoulders.(btw, has anyone messed around with the zip-tie method of covering the shoulder? Does it work well?

You're correct. It's the extremely common (at least in the UK) Yale keyway. See here and here for example.

I can't really see much in your photo. Perhaps this might help?



That's a photo of a Y1 key to my very first practice lock. (It's cut to 16647, if you're interested.)

Here are two more pictures:





If you hold the keys side by side, The spacing is identical from the shoulder.

But the tip of the Y1 seems to flatline before reaching the end of the tip. Is this normal? It seems like either the spacing is off or it was duplicated from a Y2(6 pin it seems) key and took too much nose off(then again for bumping its probably better).

Was just trying to clarify because it was the only thing that stuck out at me as odd about it... wanted to make sure that both Y1 and Y2 had same spacing, and that either the nose was suppose to be that way or was a "feature" to allow easier bumping of 5 or 6 pin using the 5 pin key.

I have plenty of old yale locks that have the missing chunk, i have never investigated it further though.

The spacing is off on the 5-pin key; it is not normal for it to be like that.
