Ah bugger. I clicked 'submit' accidentally. Where's the edit button!
Could someone let me know what CAD5, G17, BS1, CT1, and BC stand for?
If I had to guess, BC might be the key profile. Please let me know the correct key profiles if I'm wrong.
The first lock I got it off a discarded door today. Preliminary raking got it open, I haven't done pin by pin picking yet.

The "CAD5, G17, BS1, CT1' are stamped in by hand, probablly by a locksmith during set up of a master system to keep record of the cylinder's keying info and then it's location.
BC looks to be a keyway designation. I'm not familair with these Lockwood cylinders.
Been playing with locks since '68.

Thanks for your reply. It looks like Lockwoods aren't very common in the US or UK. I guess one reply was better than none. I would still like to know the keyways are.
What you said about CAD5, G17, etc makes sense, since the door came from a rather major establishment.

Thanks, I believe that it's the 1004AXA key way.
Is it likely that BC stands for Black Chrome? The finishing doesn't look like black chrome, but time may have done its work.
