I have read almost every thing there is to read and a just cant get it. i am using homemade picks until my set comes in the mail. I have been trying to pick some masterlocks and I can get all but one pin. can anyone help me out. thanks.

You got a picture of your picks?? Try some other locks, Kwickset, bird or even a standard yale cylinder then follow DB's noob tutorial. The masterlock may have spool pins that are stopping you.

i dont have any pics. I am using a peace of flat metal i found for my t.w. and metal rod that i bent like a small hook. and one like an s rake. they work good i just need a little help.

Forget the home made snake rake for the moment. I feel proper picks would help a lot. Did you bend or grind your picks?

What masterlock it it??

its a master lock no 3. i bent them. and i know they ar not great picks but i am just using them until my set comes.

Well done.. now do it again :D :D Great you are making picks, If you are picking it with a bent hook / piece of wire you will get it easy with pro picks. Remember to follow DB's tutorial it really will help your picking.
