With this lock, I had to use some pretty heave tension to unlock it. There are mushroom pins inside, so you will have to reconise these, and let up your tension to allow the pin to fully set. Once you set the mushroom pins, you can continue to pick the rest of the pins like you normally would. You can search this site for more info on mushroom pins if you have any questions about them. With one of these locks that I have(its rather old), after I picked it, I had to use a very heavy tension to get the cylinder to turn over. Good luck with it, after you get it the first few times, they wont be much of a challange anymore.

i thought that extream tention was a bad thing, maybe not afterall. I will use a homemade allen key tension wrench for added streanth. I also noticed that the pins are under a adnormal amout of preasure.

I would like to know how meny pins this lock has? And from my handling of the lock i think it turnes counter clock wise right?

Great feed back Lucky Thank alot :-)

No problem, glad that I could help.

As for the lock, I believe its a 5 pin lock, and I think that you turn the cylinder clockwise. Though i'm sure that you know by now since you opened it. ;)
