Pickset airplane from UK to Germany

Postby wowhebo » 4 Dec 2006 7:56

I would like to bring my Picks to germany from UK, i would put them in the suitcase.

You think it is a prolem because they are legal in germany, and it's a christmas present.
Have someone tried this before, or it is not possbiel to go in a airplane, because in a suitcas eit normally not a problem or?

Don't try to carry them on your person. Pack them in your checked-in luggage and you should be ok. If you're sure they are legal to carry in Germany then you won't have any problems. I've shipped a variety of sporting knives like this and not had any problems. If you want to be extra sure it's ok, declare them to customs when you arrive in Germany.

If you saw what a few of us in the UK and of course the others from around the world took to Sneek recently you wont have any worries lol

As said pack them in your luggage and you will be fine,

As long as its packed in your suitcase in the hold you should be ok transporting almost any lockpicking device,

If you want to double check ring up the airline or the customs in Germany and double check,

Im not quite sure why you would need or want to take mica home with you though for chrismas, i can understand lockpicks so you can practice but mica? also why have mica anyway? or are you a lockie?
