lever heights/key reading

having taken a few pro fits apart. i am trying to establish a sequince of high /low lifts eg. a no 4 lever lifts conciderable higher than a no 5 even tho they are numericaly next to each other.also anumber 4 lever sits higher off the barrel i am trying to learn key reading by looking at the key heights then transfering the image to my lever pick .ie does the deeper cuts in the key mean that the lever will not need to be lifted as high and vice versa i am trying to establish a pattern/rule of thumb in order to be more sucessfull & quicker on lever locks. dont want to buy loads of from B&Q e.t.c thanks for any tips

Grab a few extra levers so you can re-key it and try differant combos out,

On lever locks it is as you say the deeper the cut on the key the less you have to lift the lever,

The best way with the profit and invincible is to note which levers have anti pick notches above or below the true gate,
