Current source of books by Gerry Finch

Postby Bob M » 20 Dec 2006 0:04

Hello, All A lot of the literature on picking and LSing in general uses the books by Gerry Finch as a source or reference. I have found that Mr Finch passed on 6 years ago, or so, a post several years ago mentioned his son had his books available. Link dead. My Question: are any of his books currently available, and where? Thanks.

For those that have not heard of the late, great, Gerry Finch, he was a excellent locksmith who wrote books for the locksmith trade.

Written for the professional, as oposed to books aimed at the general public, his books are not as available through public book sellers.

Yes, some of Gerry Finch's books are still available.

They were distributed by Tech-train, which seems to be taken over by Lockmasters, major supplier in the trade.

An email to lockmasters.com confirmed the following titles by Gerry

Manual of Lock Picking GFPICK $25.00
Manual of Master Keying - Book One/Basic GFMK1 $25.00
Manual of Master Keying - Book Two/Advanced GFMK2 $25.00
Servicing Interchangeable Cores: Arrow, Best, Eagle, Falcon & Lockwood GFICBEST $25.00
Servicing Interchangeable Cores: Sargent GFICSARG $25.00

Does anyone know how to get Gerry Finch's books today?

This post is 14 years old, and I see some more recent posts of people looking for them.

I emailed lockmasters and unfortunately they no longer carry any of his books.
