is there any way of unlocking a security post lock ?? it has a circle key lock on the top of it ??

nope car locks cannot be opened in a non-destructive manner....

try using a hammer and chisel

the full story:

brought a house n moved into it, previous owners had a security post but only gave us 1 key for it, after a week of using it, the key went " missing " so my dad's car is suck behide it " lol :? " and havent got away round it !

Your right... it is expensive... maybe you should have gotten a duplicate made when you had the orginal.

But you didn't ..

Just remove the post. Unless you want to reuse it then your only option is a locksmith. We cant teach you to instantly pick locks, it takes time.

if it is your house, then you could just take an angle grinder to it. basically cut it down. although it may depend on the quality of the post, you may find it hard to cut through it.

or

get a locksmith to open it

I'm kind of lost here (and I know I'm not helping, but I just can't stop myself)...what is a security post? I thought the typos were humorous (since I do them too) and I tried my best to come up with something for "my dad's car is suck behide it", but I couldn't.

The Brits (I'm assuming he's Brittish) have such limited parking space that people just park in any random person's private drive. So, they've started errecting bollards (removable posts) to keep out unwanted vehicles.
