OK, now I know the brink's shrouded has been discussed over and over again, but I searched, and could not find the specifics of the retaining pin used to keep the plug in the lock. I have tried to drill through the retaining pin with a dremel (and about 3 steel drill bits) but I've only managed to get about a half-inch through it. How far do you need to drill until the plug will come out, and how long specifically is the pin?
It's ok guys, i have a really bad attention sp-wow look, a beach!

So far I have only had luck with a carbide tipped masonry bit.

Here is my picture of it
I started out with a larger one and then went to a 1/8th inch one to finish off

Thanks man, but could you use a scale, or measure the pin? And how far do you have to drill before the plug will come out?

The one on the top is .2995" Long and .109" wide for about .219 and then .093" for about .0805" at the narrowest part.
As far as the actual retaining pin. I was destroyed and I don't know where the brinks body is but when I find it I can measure the hole depth.

Look at the bottom of the lock and measure from the side that the pin is in to the edge of the cylinder. I'd measure mine but I don't want to go on a hunt for my micrometer.
If you decide to take the plug out of the cylinder you will find in the back of the plug a slot with a hole in it. There is a pin in the cylinder at the top that rides in this groove that holds the plug in and only allows it to turn 1/4 of a turn to the right. You can get to this pin by entering the back of the plug with a short hook pick. Just push it down with it unlocked and it will slide out. I may have pushed too hard, as I jammed it in the down position.
