Rytan Pick Case

Postby Kwikset » 6 Feb 2004 3:15

I have 11 Rytan picks, that I bought separately, so I do not have a case. Does anyone know of a case that will fit the Rytans with the plastic handles well? I know about the cases on SouthOrd, but I do not know which one to buy, because of size. Has anyone bought a separate case for Rytans, or other picks with plastic handles?

Thanks.

My Peterson picks have plastic handles. Try the Bi fold case, I think its about 12 dollars from them.

if your not really concerened with apperence you could use duct tape to make a case. this is what i carry my homade picks in. (you can also reinforce it with carboard)

And if you're not concerned with time, a quarter yard of fabric, a spool of upholstery thread, and a decent needle shouldn't cost you five bucks all together, and it's more than you need.

Got my pick case.

I got the Bi-Fold pick case from Peterson, and it works just fine. While the Rytan handles seem to be bigger than the Petersons, because they wont fit in the front where they should go, they fit just fine in the back. It would have been nice if they fit in the individual slots, but this case is definitely better than no case at all. Thanks for the recommendation. Here's a picture:

I mentioned it once before, but eyeglass cases (especially the springloaded type that are hard) are excellent for my Rytan's and HPC's, as well as 5 or six tension wrenches, a small screwdriver, my auto jigglers, a small cloth, and my extractor set. Not bad, huh?
