Hi I need help I recently purchased a Suzuki Vitara second hand
and when I got it home I realised that I dont have key for the Petrol/fuel
door lock, So at the moment I have a car that I cant put fuel in.
Can anyone please help me make a pick and get into this lock,
All help is appreciated,Thanks in advance!
same as the door lock in the bottom of the photo.
And I also have a hacksaw blade and a file ready if that helps.
Cheers

if you open it you still cant use it with out a key, i think you are better of taking it to a locksmith so they can also key it to your existing key

The key I have only starts the ignition and opens the doors It doesnt
unlock the petrol cap or back hatch, The locksmith said that he would have to book it in and it might take him a couple of hours.
For that price I might aswell Screwdriver open the Cap for now and buy another lock for the cap and the hatch. So whats the best way to force open the lock without damaging the surroundings, Thanks for the replys.

It sounds like you were given what would be referred to as a "Valet key," meaning that it will open the doors and start the car, but not open the glove box, trunk, or gas door. The theory is that you, the owner, would have the "Master key" that would open everything on the car, and if leaving it with a valet or similar service, you could give them the valet key to help protect your possessions and the like. It would be worth going to a Suzuki dealer with all of the documentation showing you own the car. They should be able to then use the VIN to look up the lock codes and make you a new key that would work all of the locks on your car.
What I know, I know, and what I don't, I don't...

Call a real locksmith or at least one that knows what they are doing and then the job can be done easily in less than 15-30 mins on site (your house or wherever),
