a little advice please

ok this lock was found in a car we were scraping at work so i brought it home with the intention of opening it, it seems to be a wafer lock ( which i have very little experience but am always trying new things.

can anyone identify it and / or provide advice as to how to go about picking it?

it has no type markings but very faintly bears the name "rolson"

Ive sorted your picture links out for you but they are a bit big so they may get made to links by another mod,

Its an Abus Granite or a direct copy of one,

The picking of those locks are deemed advanced and are only discussed in the advanced forums but basically they work on a series of discs that all need to be aligned to allow the plug to turn,

If you search the toool website you will find an article on there by Han Fey which will tell you a lot more about the mechs in these sort of locks,

Thought about it but im by no means an expert on anything and the amount of work envolved simply is not somthing i wish to take on,

I would rather produce a few little gems like that and post them up for free anyway

Also if you can track down the Hope2k2 or h2k2 video with barry wells he does a demo if the tool. the lock was claimed to be unpickable until some of Toool got hold of it and devised a special tool for it.
