Master lock

Postby tyrell444 » 20 May 2007 2:07

Hay sorry to bother you guys again but im really really new at lock picking and so far iv made my tenien wrench and a feeler wrench. But when i get the feeler wrench in start pushing the tumbler's down i kinda get lost and get stuck on that part.

I know this sound's really stupid but can someone help me.

P.S I searched the announcement and all i found was the right way on how to turn it and how much tention you need to put on it.

Try a hook pick. And Master locks will turn both ways.

Start pressing each pin up and going to the next pin, the plug should turn a little. When you get to the last pin it should turn even more.

If it does not work you might be over setting the pins or undersetting.

When you say stuck do you mean your pick gets stuck in the lock??

Please post some images of your Lock picks and wrench.

BTW there is a lot of info on Picking Master locks so try searching..

Alright thanks and im just using a regular paper clip pick

um i guess i can scan what im using for you once i find my cord's for my scanner =/

The real problem is getting the pin's to stay down i can't figure that out. It's also kinda hard to find out if i got to pin down or not.

a regular paper clip is not a pick it is for holding paper... try making real picks or buying some and then try again

Just like plastic isent meant for I'M A LOSER 'CAUSE I SPAM's but you still see girl's using them.

In other word's just because it's not meant for something does not mean you can't use it for what you need to. Plus i don't trust the internet with my credit card.

well you may get a simple filing cabinet lock with a paperclip but not much more.. I seriously doubt anything else...

I suggest that with an incessant case of paranoia that you instead make picks out of decent materials, for which there are many many guides on here telling you how.

Trying to pick locks with paperclips is nothing more then a trial of futility... sure you may by fluke open something but it will be a fluke and nothing more

Just so you know, that is a largely unfounded fear. Using a credit card on the internet is generally far more secure than using it in a restaurant, retail store, etc.

You might be interested in knowing that many dealers of picks accept money orders, PayPal, etc, too.

Cheers,

Well that's what it says on the lock at least anyways it's like level 1 security so it shouldent be that hard only 3 tumbler's.

practise and get or make better picks and that'll improve.... it's still a 4 pin lock according to the manufacturers specs.
