Numbered plastic padlocks

Does anyone know where I can buy these, like a local brick & mortar store? What kind of store? These are for personal use/craft project. I don't have a business license or security yadda yadda credentials yadda yadda. Home Depot doesn't seem to have them. I really don't want to buy a 100 pk minimum that online stores sell. Ideally I would like to get about 30-40 of them. Also, I am on a tight time table and don't want to spend my retirement savings on FedEx overnight. I know that there are tons of different kinds of plastic security seals out there, but this is the exact style I am looking for...perfect for my application.




I know this isn't really about picking, but I posted once here before about 6 months ago (different topic), and you all were very helpful. I didn't know where else to go. You guys (and gals) really know your shit.

acklands grainger sells em but you'd have to wait on shipping... you could just use zip ties and mark it with something unique

hmm i havent seen them like that but have seen like zip ties with the number on, an have to be cut off, try somehwere that deals in fire equipment, as i have seen them on there, anti tamper kinda thing..

no offense to the OP but these are the kind of thing used to secure fire exits in big "stores" in the UK. they are serialized and the numbers are recorded, but it is very rare they are checked. we had a problem at BnQ when some were stolen as gates and security doors could be closed after they were opened by people other than personal.

Again say I mean no offense as im sure you reasons for wanting them are legitimate. but this has no place on a lock picking forum. they serve no purpose other than the same as a wax seal. they show when something has been opened.

Ok. I updated my profile. I work downtown Cincinnati, and live in a suburb across the Ohio River in Northern Kentucky. No offense taken, the UK can sleep better knowing I have no intentions of going there (but would like to someday) or to take a fire extinguisher for a joyride. I realize this wasn't a question about the hobby/educational research of picking a lock. But I just didn't know who else to ask. A also realize this is to show evidence of tampering, which is what I want. My situation calls for a small padlock, and when padlock isn't practicable, I need the breakaway ability.

Actually, I found a site that sells them in lots of 10 for $5...or 50¢/pc. The manufacturer, American Casting, sells them for 75¢/pc. with a minimum order of 100. So instead of spending $75 (for 100). I can spend $20 (for 40).
