If you look down the keyway and don't see pins it may not be a pin tumbler lock. Can you post a picrure?

Take a digital picture. Upload it to www.photobucket.com post the link to the picture here. Photobucket is easy to use, and they have step by step directions.

Or....... you could start at the top of ANY section of this site with the NEW USERS START HERE thread, and you'll find a tutorial that was painstakingly written out on the topic of posting images on the site.

1. where did you get an LAI lock.
2. Is it still installed to the vending machine or washing machine?
3. The reason you don't see pins is because it doesn't have pins, it uses flat rotating discs. It's a disc style lock (like an ABLOY classic) so it is Advanced Material and cannot be discussed in the public section of this forum based on the high security nature , the way it is picked, and the types of things it usually protects.
4. you gotta use the search button, someone had the exact question about LAI about a week ago.

we'd still like to see a photo. please post one, we're all curious.

The cable lock shown does seem a good solution to the gun lock problem if you can't afford a safe or don't have one for some other reason, but unlike the ones reasantly discused I don't think the government would be likely to give them out free. *insert quip about US budget here*...

I agree that the cable lock looks like quite a nice one for a gun owner, especially after all that discussion on the other thread.

Also, I think that the 'photo' is actually a scan of the lock, and thats why it looks so distorted.
