many diffrent pens make good tension wrenches/picks

http://www.qarnnsratings.cwc.net/Pens.gif
the one on the bottom I happen to own, take off the clip and some filing makes good pick or wrench. but that pen is hard to find. get those felt-tip onse that are generally grey and have a cap. take the clip off of that, and when you do the end has a nice end for a tension wrench. Just the other day I looked at a pair of headphones i got off an airplane flight and noticed the wiring that keeps them on your head, that is very thin and also greatly strong. Right now im using cloth hangers but they are not very strong, they were only thing I could find. Also you can just get some street cleaner bristles I hear those are the best. Also iv heard of hacksaw blades and metal-rake ends. and a tip, never use a paperclip, you have many choices and all are better then a paper clip.

hope that answeres your question!

I have heard the dipstick from a car can be used to make larger picks.

You can get dip sticks at a junk yard, and I would asume cheap. I used hacksaw blades for picks and allen keys for wrenches (metric 4mm, 3mm, and 2.5mm) , I tappered the wrenches so they fit in multiple locks. This worked well for me. If you want to do this look for the lock pick making video in the forums made by Pyro1234321. Hope this helps.

To start out, I'd recommend getting a small (~6mm) chainsaw file, a triangular file about the same size, some grit paper and some street sweeper blades (just go down to your local depot and ask nicely for old ones) Shrub covers it all in his guide

Good luck

PS kotassk, think before you post, if you're angling for access to the advanced forums, that aint gonna work. Try to make your post informative, rather than throwaway three-word sentences.
