are you trying to just open it or trying to learn how it looks like inside?
if you look at the sides of the lock, and tilt it back and fourth you'll see 4 small circles and a big circle by the silver shackle. That's where the factory capped the springs and pins. There is a method of getting those brass caps to pop out by heating the lock and then dropping it in a coffee can full of ice cold water, and if you search for it on here someone wrote a great article about doing it. just beating on it with a hammer isn't going to open the lock or spill out all the insides.
one thing you'll learn with this awesome hobby is patience. I wasn't very patient with it at the beginning either, but now I can sit for hours and work on a lock without the need to grab a hammer and beat on a lock.
is that a model 140 or 150? it should say on the bottom.
and do you have picks so you can pick it open first before you beat on it some more?
good luck, poke around for that article on taking these apart.
