There is are two rooms in my house with a door in between. I don't have a key and need help picking it. I don't have a key. I've read the manuals, and its still pretty difficult for me. Any tips on this lock? The brand is BEST.

It seems very odd to me that you would have an IC core best lock in your house. Why do you not have a key? Why do you need to pick the lock? If you are new to picking you will likely not be able to pick it anyway. Best locks are not easy to pick. Can you post some more pictures of the surrounding area of the lock? I'd like to see a house with an IC core lock in it. Lastly, it's a lock in use, we can't help you pick it. Call a locksmith.

BEST locks are usually used in commercial applications to make "re-keying" a snap for the authorized end user and as part of a larger master key system so it really is weird that your house would use a BEST lock. Kinda defeats the purpose of having that lock.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

That is very questionable why such locks are in a home?
And I too would like to know why there is no keys, to these locks especially if there is more than 1 in the home to begin with?

Call a Locksmith.

Don't pick locks that are in use.

Unfortunately for you, Best locks are a very rare find on an interior lock and will likely be very hard for you to pick.

Good luck with your dilemma.
