Hey guys on deadbolts should i use light tension and which pick should i use i only have small hook med hook snake rake and w rake i was just wondering if i apply really light tension to feel them?

If you are just starting forget you have rakes. Use the short hook to single pin pick until you get the basics. The ammount of tension depends on the lock you have. Even the same brands of lock can require different ammounts of tension to pick them. Thats one of the things noone can really teach you, you just have to get a feel for it.

Most locks don't need a lot of tension. Applying the same amount of pressure you would use when pressing any key on your keyboard is usually enough in most cases. But then again some padlocks may need more to help overcome the return spring tension on the plug or if the lock is old dirty and binding. Then you would have to crank it up a little bit.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

i need help whith old doors.and a new set of lockpicks .plz tell me how can i make a easy bag for my lockpicks thnks
