Depth and Spacing for 1958 mercedes

Postby linty » 17 Oct 2007 16:47

Don't think this is considered advanced since it doesn't relate to picking, but I was hoping just maybe somebody might know where to start to find some depth and spacing info for a 1958 mercedes 220s, using the ilco 63JA blank.

it's 4 pins and 6 depths according to http://www.mbzponton.org/valueadded/other/keys.htm
and that site seems to imply that locksmiths would have access to depth and spacing info, but I have tried codesource and codesonline and neither of them have anything.

If this is considered advanced, then I apologize in advance to the admins.

I don't have a reference for the 63JA... but, for what it's worth, I have the info for the MB59, which is a similar vintage. (I've sent you a PM.) If the mods feel it's not advanced material, and anyone else is curious, I'm happy to post the MB59 depth/space measurements here as well...

thank you both for your help.
I think vrocco's data is correct, but I managed to impression it before i got a chance to read it.

If you don't mind me asking, where on earth did you find that?
