small keyhole?

Postby tyrant » 15 Apr 2004 9:39

I always seem to have trouble with this one lock. It has a very small keyhole. Therefore, the pins are also very small. The springs are pretty loose too. Getting them set without breaching them is a huge pain and takes a long time.

Any Ideas?

Have you tried small, thin tools? You will probably have to make them yourself. Other than that, enjoy the challenge that a small lock give.

As for the smaller tools, you could check out SouthOrd's Slim-line series for limited access keyways. I haven't heard anything about them in particular, so I can't recommend them, but you could at least take a look. Good luck. If you do end up getting them, let me know how they are. http://www.southord.com
