Not wanting to sound pedantic or anything, but the title 'Lockpicking 101' says it all really. Sure, there are bypass techiques here and there, but the general focus is on picking locks.

What he said. The vast majority of us are not locksmiths. Some of us, we couldn't have LESS interest in being a locksmith.

HeadHunterCEO,

This is truly a hobbiest board. Some of us, myself included, are interested in hardware and access control etc. But, for the most part, picking is and will continue to be the main focus of this board. All of us here certainly hope you stay around, but I think these other sites will givesome of the hardware/locksmith issues far better coverage than we could, or wish to. alt.locksmithing newsgroup--name says it all

As Chucklz stated, your sticking around would be greatly appreciated, as you can probably offer a lot to this forum. Granted, most of what is posted is likely to be what you already know/do, but certain methods which you have used to overcome a particular problem are most definitely of interest to the noobs amongst us.

As your posts continue to show a degree of knowledge and participation within the forum, you will likely find that you qualify for access to the secure section. Here, you will find more topics in which other like-minded users are more comfortable sharing sensitive information.
