Could anybody fill me in on this magic plastic stuff and its use?

Its not magic, but it can seem like it. Its used to bypass non deadlocking bolts. Unfortunately its a bit too sensitive for an open forum or pm. Examine a standard KIK lock, with a credit card style bit of plastic in your hand, and I am sure you will figure it out.

ive never touched or seen mica before, but i know polycarbonate sheet about 1mm thick "easily" opens most non deadlatch locks. it opened my front door licketysplit, altho the use kind of defeats the purpose of lockpicking for hobby... im thinking only security people, smiths and criminals would use this rather then picks
