Reverse action tweezers

Postby maxxx » 27 Nov 2007 2:15

I tried out a reverse action tweezer and I was wondering if anyone else has tried one. I have been pinning up a pile of A2s, and zipped through them.

I spent more time seating the caps (Best style) than I did setting the pins.

Man I hate these things. Every time I try to use it to re-pin a lock, the pins just come loose and start flying everywhere. I ended up reserving this tweezer for pulling my nose hairs instead.

Yup, its been like that for a few people who just joined while this site was having major problems. Either that or some people need to make some real friends and get out more.

I've found that filing a deeper groove into the face of the reverse action tweezers where they hold the pin helps to stop the pin from swivelling or flying off.
