The theory... a couple of minutes. The practice of lockpicking... always learning. Its like othello, a minute to learn, a lifetime to master.

My original goal was to become competent, using my definition. That took about a week. I haven't really stopped getting better since, and I'm still nowhere near where I'd like to be eventually. And when I get _there_, the bar'll move up again.
