snapgun & auto jiggler's

Postby james123 » 26 Apr 2004 4:59

hi all,
i recently purchased a LAT-17 snapgun from southord, and i was wondering if anyone else has found these to be abit bad or inconsistant when it comes to opening locks.

i was thinkin of purchasing another one Eg. a LOCKAID snapgun.
wondering if anyone out there has used these and found them to be better/or worse then the LAT-17.

ALSO i was thinkin of buyin some auto jiggler's, wondering if anyone has used these and could give me some feedback on how well they work.

thanx. :D

Snap guns work great with a bit of pratice. they are not magic keys.
Í have also southord one and it works like a charm although it takes all the fun out of picking, but i am a gadjet freak and buy all intresting toys.

The jiglers i also have form southord and also work good on older model cars but also require a little pratice .

good luck in your testings.

Btw you do not need to buy another gun just pratice and read up on how to use a pickgun properlly and you will eventually succeed .

dude, i wouldnt buy a new gun, dont be stupid. The Southord is one of the best anyway (check my opll on lock pick guns i did a while ago)

You just gotta practice. I got it almost first shot, but others have tried and not been so lucky. I dunno, they seem to like some ppl and not like others.

One tip I can give you though is to use the lightest tension, and I know ppl say that for nomal picking, but I seriously hardly touch the tension, because the pins have got to snap up. The higher they go, the more time they are free and the more chance you have of opening the lock. Make sure u start on a lock without security pins too. Also, keep the tension down and keep clicking the gun for about 20 snaps, then release. Spend a solid half hour on the lock, and if still cant get it, pm me and I'll help ya out

Best of luck mate, and I hope sum of that helped :)
