Baton 787D 50mm
i am having trouble picking this lock.. it has 5 mushroom pins.. can anyone tell me if it is a easy lock.. or do i just suck at pickin?

Mushroom pins can be tricky to overcome. You can tell when you snag them cos the plug will turn just a little bit more than when a normal pin stack is set.

In these cases you have to counter rotate the plug the opposite direction by letting off the tension a tiny bit and with a little more pressure added to the pick you can push the security pin up and clear it at the shearline.

But when you do this other pin stacks thats already been set my fall back down so you'll have to re-pick them again. A bit of a tedious task but once you get the hang of it its no big deal.
