apprenticeship questions

Postby hereIam » 6 Jan 2008 20:36

Hi to all

I have a few questions regarding apprenticeship I live CA and the town where I live has only 2 Locksmiths cover my area. I was considering contacting them via mail as to any possibilities do you think this would be a good idea if so how would be a good way of writing the letter and what to include, I am aged at mid 30s would this be to old to be asking for a chance at an apprenticeship.

I am also considering taking a Foley-Belsaw course would it be better to take and complete the course before contacting them any help or pointers would be most helpful

many thanks in advance :D

There are a ton of locksmith schools in CA. I would suggest looking at ALOA's PDF and calling or e-mailing a few guys. Look on monster, or jobbing.com you will always see advertisements of people looking for apprentices or willing to train. You can look here for some schools
