Security pins i made what you think

Security pins i made what you think

----I filed the middel out of the spolls on a a six tumblur lock----- i left one with the straight sides so to speek----- ------the spools are about 3/8 inch ling with about 2mm on each end and about 1.5 mm round in the center -------

--does any one think this will make it harded to pick the lock -----if so how hard have i made the jod for them ----

Got pictures? If they look like your average spool chances are they would help aid pick prevention, theoretically anyway.

yeah it will be harder, well unless you know how to defeat spools ;)

what tools did you use to make those?
i want some ;)

----i have a pair of plyers that i made a groove in 1/8 inch to hold the pin in i then use a 2mm wide file turning the pin as i go ------ I then turn the pin end for end to do the other end ----- :lol: -----Its a pain in the ars but you get there ---- I have nutted out an other way to do it but its not even on the drawing board yet :cry:

cant wait for the next idea, i could use a tougher lock, ive picked all the ones i own.

plus ive picked all my car doors, ignition and glovebox

these will make it a little harder... a 6 security pin lock :twisted:

---Doing it that way its all most easer to start with a 1/8 diameter length of brass braseing wire is easer to hold in the plyers------then after you have filed out the center bit -- cut the pin to length -- i have about 20 bits 4 inchs ling that i work with ---i have to use an eye peace to see what i am doing----

good one I have just rekeyed a lock useing 1/8 insh stainless steel threaded rod as pins and threaded the insides of the pin holes in the lock so when its tenchened up the threads will blind --- i have never picked a lock -- I have yet to see if i can -- I have some barstard that gets in my place ---

I perchased some 1/8 diameter UNC stainless steel threaded rod and cut off some bits to length and used them as pin's

and done the same with the 1/8 inch brass welding ROD--^^^^^ look up there
