Quite often refered to as Spoolated pins if that helps your searching

American 5200 padlocks regularly use spoolated pins. They are simply a normal spool with a ring cut into the remaining full diameter on both ends.

These are also known as "spoorated" pins. I seem recall American and Brinks Shrouded being fond of them as drivers.

the first one is an American brand lock, they also use serrated key pins.

word of warning, "spoorated" is something thats turned up here. if you say it to the average locksmith he will give you the same look as when you try and explain something complicated to a small dog.
