Jigglers

Postby PCSO174 » 24 May 2004 10:25

I recently bought a set of jigglers for the fun of it. I have searched the forums and saw someone say that there is a listing for which keys go to what cars. I figured that buying the set would be beneficial for when I have to do a lock-out, but I can't figure out the trick to them. If anyone has advise and is worried, I am a police officer and can give you numbers to verify if needed.

Thanks

jigglers are not real effective on todays cars. You may have some luck opening older vehichles in the early to mid 80's era but after that good luck.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

You need to practice, practice, practice. Try a car scrap yard.

Insert the jiggler holding between finger and thumb.
Keep light tension, while jiggling the key up and down with short in and out movements.

Don't know of a list to specify which jiggler does which car, but you will probably find that two out the set get better results than the others, but again it's all practice.
