Hey everyone, I'm new here and I'm trying to learn and contribute.

Anyways, I've gotten several resources for learning to lockpick, I've read several guides as well as watched the movie:

"Lock Picking for the new Millennium"

So I've decided that I want to take up lock picking as a hobby, because it's challenging and would just be fun in general.

I've picked out the Southord C801 kit (Slim-Line)

http://www.lockpicks.com/index.asp?Page ... ProdID=270

I also got an extra:

Jag Snake Pick (regular)
Thin Line Tension Wrench
Small Half Diamond Pick (regular)

Now I was wondering if that would be the ideal kit, should there be any other tension wrenches I should include?

I would like to practice on padlocks, which is why I got the thin line wrench as well as the small half diamond pick.

I live in Canada, so I would also like to know if the Slim Line would be fine for locks in Canada/US.

Thanks in advance.

Most of the locks you would buy in U.S. (and probably Canada as well) would work fine with either either regular or slimline. Usually the regular would work fine, but if you have a nasty or just a thin keyway, the slimlines might help.
