im new to this game just a couple of doors and paddlocks under my belt and my security box but i would like to know if anyone as done this i was trying to pick a lock and the pin were a long way down and not a lot of room for wranch and pick .and as im waiting for my slim pick to come i was getting inpatient.so i found a set of sparkplug dividers found number 25 put my dimond pick on top and used a marker pen to go round pick and you have your template. used the sandbelt and made a nice thin diamond pick.and it worked. i did`t won`t to sand down my diamond pick just incase i cocked it up .you do need some tape on the back as it can be a bit sore on the old hands as i said im new to all this and i would just like to know if i can take all the credit

Feeler blades have been used as a stock to make picks from, have a look at lockpickroy's set. Congrats on the successful manufacture and use of a home made tool anyhow. The feeling following a succesful pick with self made tools is a notch above using bought tools.
Image If it ain't broke.....pull it down and see how it works anyway!
