I was browsing eBay to see if I could find some cheap used locks. One I found had "Uncoded" in its description. What does this mean?

I think that it means that it's not pinned/keyed. Possibly pinned/keyed all 0's. You'll also find that some auctions say combinated or uncombinated.

I understand that; not expecting any miracles, but at a price like that, how can I pass it up?

According to what I could find on Google, "Uncoded" probably means that the key specifications aren't printed on the lock. Does this sound accurate? I found multiple locksmithing definitions for what "Code" is.

That is what they mean.. there are NO PINS in the lock. ( should be VERY easy to pick )
Everyone who eats potatoes eventually dies. Therefore potatoes are poisonous.

We could just call him "Dash". I mean... dash is pretty generic. Could be any kind of dash. Plus.. "Dash" sounds like he'd be the almost too cool guy in a 70's urban cowboy flick. You know.. the guy who's not really the star, but he's right there along with the star, until he gets pwnd in a bar fight? Yeah! That guy.
Dash.
Cool.
