kwikset smartkey locks for home?

I wanted to find out what you all thought about the Kwickset SmartKey locks for residential use? I know Kwikset isnt a really high security lock brand. But this one is supposedly ANSI Grade 1. Im looking at replacing the locks at my house (currently el cheapo kwikset). And want something more secure than what I have. If it is not recommended, what would you all recommend and why?

apparently there are no real ansi grades for residential locks and this is sort of a word game. I'm not really too familiar with ANSI but that's how my rep explained it to me.
Either way most lock grading refers to UL grades so be careful you aren't just seeing that "grade 1" and assuming it's up there with abloy.

It's not going to offer you any protection against physical attacks but it's definitely harder to pick that kwikset and either very bump resistant or bump proof.

The ONLY part of the Smartkey lock that is Grade 1 is the bolt mechanism. The actual keyway area, screws, other parts, are just run of the mill Grade 2 or Grade 3 parts; that is, if they even bothered to rate the rest of the lock.

I will say that it seems better made than the Kwiksets prior to the Smartkey model. So who knows, maybe Kwikset will be the next Schlage or BEST some day. Just like when Hyundai cars were first total garbage, and now they're making border line luxury sedans. Give it time.
