Taking advice, but having problems.

I was reading up on techniques for practicing newbies (like me!), and many members suggested removing some of the pins (in my case, wafers) and start with only one and work up to the full set.

I got my lock taken apart, but cannot figure out how to extract the wafers from the plug.

Any suggestions? It's a MIWA double wafer.

The vast majority of what we talk about is pin tumbler locks. I'd really go ahead and buy a cheap padlock or deadbolt cylinder.
I don't want to discourage you, but wafer locks are often so easy they aren't worth discussion. I bet that once you have experience with regular pin locks you'll go back to the wafer and pick it with no sweat.
