Do you have an i core lock? If so you could disassemble it and use the holes in the control sleeve to locate the cuts you would need to make in your tension wrench.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

I beleive this came from an edition of TNL or something similar. Unfortunately I have no citation. Can anyone help in that regard?

No worries Chucklz, it came from some local distributor's newsletter. I found it in a bunch of stuff from an estate sale and as far as I can tell this place has been out of business for 30 years. Neither the drawing or the articles from the newsletter have any copyright or nonreproduction warnings on them and none of the sfic stuff that this drawing was with even have an author listed. So I think we're safe .

TONS of outdated lock info and drawings that were really useful to me...exploded drawings of OLD motise locks and latches with parts lists and templates. A lot of info on older model (50's-70's) car locks. Some fun stuff that was just scary; Did you know there are tons of cities that haven't changed the bittings of their fire box keys since 1969?
