Welcome to the forum BiGD440o3.

Please forgive me if this does not answer your request but I'm sure you will agree that yours is a little hard to decode.

I think you need a suitable tension/torsion wrench. There are plenty of post already on this topic, I suggest you use the search option for a full answer.

I personally use road sweeping bristles. They need to be bent to a rough 'L' shape so they can apply some tension. Like I said try looking, someone is sure to have described it better than this.

I won't even ask why you had it between your teeth :?

Good luck.

You dont need to pick it, just gnaw through the lock. ;)

Seriously though... There is plenty of good advice on making/acquiring tension wrenches all over the forum.

try the search engine. (I forgot, the search engine has been screwed lately)

You've tried playing it with your teeth, but have you tried lighting it on fire!?

Search for a post about wiper blade inserts and you are sure to find something about tension tools in there as well! :) Put your teeth into it! hehehe just kidding :) You probably shouldn't hold the tension tool with your teeth. You can, however, get away with using the pick to scratch your nose or dig in your ear, etc :)

I would pick with my tounge (far more skill and dexterity than my eyelid) and tension with the eyelid.....gret visual feedback.

 uhmmm... it is obvious from this thread that the MIT guide alone is not sufficient to teach newbies the subtlties of tension wrenches.....

I thought that was obvious a long time ago.

I finally decided to take my book(s) off hold. No matter if you get the basic version of the book, or the more indeapth version of the book there is a whole section on tension wrenches.
