Where are you located? It affects your choise of picks. Also, for what locks (pin tumblers I suppose)?

well you could probably buy separate picks from southord, with cheap shipping. buying a small pick set isnt very cheap. buy a few picks and some tension wrenches and you should be set. i spent about 30 bucks buy you could get the basics for less.

You can order individual picks very reasonable.

And with the discount, it really helps.
They also have a wide variety.

Individual picks available from Peterson picks also... just to give you a bit more choice. Other than that, you could make some hacksaw picks or post up where you are... some people make really cheap hacksaw picks for sale... the prices can go below $1/ea... Not fantastic quality at those prices... but not horrible.
