Lockpicks.com Discount?

Postby thertel » 27 Aug 2004 15:00

So I was about to order some more tools today when it occurred to me that we have a discount from lockpickshop.com of 10% which is very nice, but they are very limited in selection of some of the nicer tools. Well this got me to thinking that perhaps since we are a pretty large user group we could get discounts through some of the other online retailiers as well such as lockpicks.com.

I was curioust to know whether anyone has already looked into this since it would be of value to many of the members of hte forum as they develop their skills and decide to move up from the southord equipment.

I've already asked lockpicks.com about group discounts as well as large order discounts and I am waiting for a reply. I will keep everyone posted.

I would appreciate others thoughts on this.

I heard some mixed reviews about lockpicks.com. You might want to do some more research before commiting to that site.

I've actually ordered quite a bit of kit from them already(Navigator set brockhage pickgun, and I'm getting some petersons as well) and have had no problems and delivery has been 2 business days everytime so far. I believe I know which review you are referring to but you'll notice that it was a issue from over a year ago which was resolved in a satisfactory manner. Practically every review of this company that I've read since then is superb and my personal experience is excellent.

It would be nice to get discounts from SouthOrd.

As far as the site sponsor is concerned, you may want to contact them by email with your request. I have heard they have been known to get stuff for customers that wasn't available on their site.

Just a thought.

Regarding other sites giving discounts, all I can say is good luck, and I mean that in a positive way.
