But seriously, if you're interested in homebrew picks, I can't recommend enough the various people associated with this site. LockNewbie21, Raimundo, Kaotic (not sure if he's still producing) just to name a few. They all produce very nice custom pics for the money, both in showmanship and durability.
I personally have purchased over half the picks I own from LN21, Raimundo and few others and for the most part, I find them vastly superior to the commerically available counterparts such as my Peterson picks or a few of my HPC and SO picks.
Pricewise, yes, you'll probably pay a little more for possibly few picks, but in the end, again it's about the craftmanship and durability that I go for and my homebrew pics can't be beat.
