Best lock picking kit for 6 cylander barrel lock??

Best lock picking kit for 6 cylander barrel lock??

Hi me again. Just incase you didn't understand my last question. I'm looking for the best lock picking kit for a 6 cylander barrel lock? Any recommendations?

Your terminology is confusing. a typical lock is called a cylinder, and may have six collumns of pins. I don't know what the six locks are on your barrel.

If, as Raimundo pointed out you mean a 6 pin cylinder lock, it will be down to personal preference.

I bought a six pin yale a while ago which is a very nice lock but I found the keyway a little restrictive for a small hook so I used my pick of choice which is a small half diamond to single pin pick it.

On restrictive keyways often using top-tension can be a way of getting a hook in there but i only use hooks for small padlocks generally.

I get a feeling he's counting the visible pins on a 6 pin tubular lock, such as the ones found on computer cases, Coke machines, etc etc.

pacman, can you clear this up for us? post a picture of the lock so we can recommend which type of picking gear you will need.
